Veduchi closes summer with two days of hiking on the Wolf Trail

The free walks on 29 and 30 August combine a five-kilometre mountain route with guides, rest stops and a transfer from Grozny.

A day programme offers one more chance to walk Veduchi's Khacharoyduk ridge on the final weekend of summer. The Wolf Trail opens views towards the mountain-river gorge, a nineteenth-century quarry and the villages of Veduchi and Tazbichi.

When does the programme begin?

Participants meet in the square outside the Veduchi service centre at 10:00. After a safety briefing, the walk starts at 10:30; the five-kilometre trail is graded moderate and is expected to take about three and a half hours. A snack is provided, and professional guides and photographers accompany the group.

What will hikers see?

The eco-trail follows the Khacharoyduk ridge. Its viewpoints look across the Khacharoyakh river gorge, an old quarry and the surrounding mountain villages. Rest areas and trail markers divide the walk into manageable stages. Cable-car access and a professional photo session during the hike are also free for participants.

Free transfer from Grozny

A free vehicle leaves at 08:00 from the car park beside Grozny's Flower Park for visitors who prefer not to drive. The return service departs the Veduchi service centre at 16:00. The walk is free and requires no specialist preparation, but grippy footwear, water, sun protection and a light layer for changing mountain weather will make the day more comfortable.
