From above, the relationship between the Heart of Chechnya Mosque, parks, Sunzha corridor and rebuilt centre becomes clearer. Use the view to read the city, not only as a selfie backdrop.
A half-day central route
Link Mahmud Esambayev Avenue, Flower Park, the riverfront and mosque park on foot. Do not make the deck your only purpose, so the day still works if access closes.
Turn the panorama into a city map
If access and visibility are confirmed that day, do more than take a single wide photograph from the deck. Establish your orientation first, locating the Sunzha River, central places of worship, parks and the Grozny City area in relation to one another. Then build a three-frame record: a wide view for the whole city, a medium view showing the relationship between river and green space, and one architectural detail you can find again at street level. Add direction, date and weather to each frame. After descending, walk to two landmarks selected from above; the skyline becomes a practical city route. If fog, rain or poor visibility hides detail, do not guess distant locations. Switching to the riverfront or a park walk is a sound reading of conditions.
