Contingency
Keep a separate reserve for changed flights, weather or roads and flexible bookings. Verify current cash and card use before travel.
Rebuild the budget on the booking day
A three-, five- or seven-day example is not a fixed price list. Record flights, nightly accommodation, city transfer, food, highland vehicle and guide, connectivity, insurance and contingency on separate lines. Save each RUB quote with its date, taxes and cancellation terms, then convert it at the official rate on the same day. Ask in writing whether a mountain vehicle includes waiting, fuel and return, and whether a hotel rate includes breakfast, registration and late arrival.
